Push rod-type UV curing equipment, which is designed for repairing lateral drainage pipes. It can accommodate pipe diameters ranging from DN100 to DN250 and lengths between 20 and 50 meters.
This type of equipment, the push rod type UV curing equipment, works based on a process called UV CIPP curing. Here's how it generally operates:
Preparation:
The damaged section of the pipe is first cleaned and prepared for repair. Any debris or obstructions are removed to ensure a smooth surface.
Insertion:
Insert the UV liner by pulling in or compressed air.
The UV curing equipment, typically mounted on a push rod, is inserted into the liner to reach the end.
UV Light Curing:
Once the impregnated fiberglass liner and the equipment are in place, UV light is used to harden the resin. The UV light activates the photoinitiators in the resin, causing it to harden quickly.
Curing Process:
The UV light is usually emitted from LEDs within the equipment. The light is directed onto the resin-infused area, where it cures the resin in a short amount of time, typically within minutes.
Completion: After the total liner has been fully cured, the UV curing equipment is removed from the pipe, leaving behind a newly reinforced and repaired section of the pipeline.
This method is efficient, as it allows for quick repairs without the need for extensive excavation, making it a popular choice for rehabilitating damaged pipes.
